Consequences

For the patient the consequence is obviously death. But also the grieving and anger brought out by the patients family and friends resides in the killer's hands and mind. Also being caught with Euthanasia could give you 20 years of prison, and for some people, perhaps the rest of their life. Sure some people are willing to do that for the pain of their loved ones to end, but in many ways they are unsure if the patient wants do die. Euthanasia is still a federal offense and wont be taken lightly. Some other consequences are that euthanasia is against most people's religions. If you were a protestant it is against the practices of Jesus against killing and suicide. There's also another argument that people cannot play god and determine when a human's life should be ended, religion has a great effect on this matter.
